Current Name: Kindlerose
Age:
Clan: AshClan
Gender: Female
Rank: Medicine Cat
Mentor/Apprentice: Not applicable
Description: Kindlerose is a tabby tortoiseshell, a type of Maine Coon called "Black Smoke." At least, that was as close as they could get to describing her real coat color. Her fur is a variety of colors, ranging from a black to a gray-blue color. The actual coat colors are, in fact, an inky black, shadow gray, misty (blue), fog (gray), and some spots of white in places. The coat is best, like on all long-haired cats, in leaf-bare, when it gets thick and glossy. Though her coat is really heavy and glossy already, it comes out best in leaf-bare, as said before. Her coat is soft, not rough or matted, as she takes very good care of it. Her eyes are a dark blue, like the color of a lake. They are full, round eyes rather than oval, and they are also sightly oblique. Small and compact, rather than large or medium, with solid musculature, each curve of her body is distinctly outlined. She is also graceful and lithe, and hardly ever trips... if a cat can trip. Suprisingly, her legs are not long at all, in fact, they are rather short. Or medium. Kindlerose's build serves her to be quite strong, though she rarely ever fights. She is a long-haired cat, which is no suprise regarding her breed, but its sometimes a problem when dealing with blood, as the fur has a tendancy to clot. She has a small patch of white fur on her chest. If you look carefully, you can see a scar running down from the white patch to her left front paw. She aquired the scar when she was an apprentice, and although it is mostly covered with fur you can still see parts of it. Her tail is slightly longer than normal, with a pure black tip. In some lights, her coat will shimmer slightly, but that is a very rare occasion whenever it does happen. Her ears are set high in her head, like most Maine Coon's, and have pointed ear tips, as well as being large and upright. Kindlerose has a face that is longer than it is wide, and a square muzzle. Her whole appearence is a lustrous she-cat with a dark coat and dark blue eyes: In other words, dark.
Personality: Kindlerose is gentle. She would never hurt anyone on purpose. Kind and loving to her Clan, Kindlerose earned great respect form many cats. She will befriend a hurt or sick cat, depending on what her leader says, of any Clan. Kindlerose may sound perfect, but she's most definetly not. She will not tolerate or treat a rouge, even if it is in dire need of help or safety. Well, maybe. Her weakness is the impulse to befriend any cat, even if they are a kittypet or loner, discluding rouges. As you can probably tell, she has a great affection for kits. She never kills, ever. Wound, but not kill. Sometimes she wishes for kits herself, but, as a newly made medicine cat, she doesn't want to involve herself with someone and, potentially, heartbreak. Also its against the Warrior Code. So she has to settle with watching from afar. This is hard for her, especially in the days when she is in a bad mood. Kindlerose considers all the Clan her large family, and is easily amused by some of their actions. She also wants an apprentice desperatly, but so far no one has given her one, probably because she is a Medicine Cat, and it needs a special type of cat for a Medicine Cat Appretice. She still keeps her hopes up, though. Kindlerose can swim, and enjoys to do so, but there are hardly any places for her to swim in in AshClan territory. As a female, she retains more dignity and self-confidence then male Maine Coon cats, who, in her opinion, are slightly goofy. Easygoing and friendly, Kindlerose can make friends easily, as shone before. She takes good care of her coat, usually always taking time to groom and care for it; She has a slight bit of vanity, you could say. Kindlerose depends on no one, preferring to take care of her own wounds and problems without the help of others. She is no kit in need of its mother, and detests having to depend on someone. Sure, she can understand wounded cats and the like, but she can't figure out why healthy cats have to depend on another cat. Although this is the way of Clan life and they would most certainly die if they didn't, her argue is "Loners can do it; Why can't we?" But in truth, she wouldn't know what to do without her Clan mates, and, in turn, they wouldn't know what to do without her.

History: Breed History
You don't have to read this. So there is no obligation to make yourself do this; I just though it would be intresting if I added some stuff about their Breed History.
The Maine Coon's history is vauge. One of its probable descendents are from the British cats, Russian or Scandanavian cats, too. The harsh New England weather made them have to adapt, thus making their coat dense and thick. In 1861 the Maine became truly popular, but then, in the 20th century, the Maine Coon lost its high position to the Persians. It survived as a breed only because farmers recognized its excellent hunting ability. I am happy to say that the intrest in the Maine Coon rekindled and they came back as a truly popular breed.
5 days old
Kindlerose was born to Lightfoot and Swifttail of WindClan. There were 2 other kits besides her, of which all survived. Kindlerose was the youngest and smallest of the kits, whick served for a small build. Only one other kit had the same coat color and build. although slightly larger than her. Lightfoot picked the name Kindle for her size - kindle, a small flame that she had kindeled. Her long fur protected her from leaf-bare.
5 moons old
It soon became apparent that Kindlerose-or Kindlekit then- was fascinated with the Medicine Cat ways. From the start she loved to watch them and their life. Whenever she would go missing from the nursery someone would always say "Oh, she's watching the Medicine Cat's den." It was no suprise to anyone that she was taken as Stormwhisker's - the Medicine Cat's - apprentice.
13 moons old
Kindlerose had just been given her last name - Rose for her favorite flower and delicatness - when the rouges attacked. Stormwhisker was killed in the battle when he was trying to help a wounded cat. Kindlerose herself suffered a blow that split open her skin from chest to paw and she almost died. She managed to survive the wound while helping take care of her Clan (the SnowClan Medicine Cat helped her) and became the official AshClan Medicine Cat shortly after.
