CHARACTER RANKS
*LEADER*
The leader of the clan is the cat responsible for leading the cats of their clan. He/she has nine lives, given to them by StarClan. Their duties include leading ceremonies, making announcements, and defending their clan. Their name always ends in "star".
*DEPUTY*
The deputy is second-in-command he/she is to be respected by all the other cats. They are chosen by the leader (or me at first) to help direct and organize the clan. The deputy's duties include organizing patrols, hunts, and making sure the the clan is in order.
*MEDiCiNE CAT*
The medicine cat of the clan is the "healer" for the cats. They are spiritually-oriented cats with a strong connection to StarClan. They have extensive herb knowledge and make a trip once a moon to Mooncave to speak with StarClan. StarClan speaks directly through them sometimes, sending them back from the moonstone with prophecies of doom & prosperity.
*MEDCiNE CAT APPRENTICE*
The medicine cat apprentice is an apprentice chosen by the medicine cat (the medicine cat of the clan will choose, I will not) to learn the life of a medicine cat. Once the medicine cat can no longer complete their duties due to age or death, the apprentice becomes the medicine cat. So A medicine cat apprentice may be older than 12 moons and still be called for example Canarypaw.
*ELDER*
Elders are warriors that are too old to fulfill their duties any longer. They are treated with great respect and have their lives taken care of them. They mostly stay in the elders den. Apprentices clean out their dens and bring them fresh-kill. In return they tell the youth stories of the clans and of StarClan.
*QUEEN*
Queens are pregnant or nursing females. They are responsible for taking care of the kits until they are old enough to become apprentices. Queens are not queens for life - they are warriors who become pregnant. Once their kits are older, they return to being a warrior.
N0TE You have to ask me to be a queen, so we can control how many kits and upcoming apprentices we have. Also a litter may be NO bigger than 6 kits. And the player of the queen may control 1-2 kits, the rest must be played by either the father or someone else. They can be named by whomever is playing the mother, and must be adopted out if neither the mother or father wants to play them.
*WARRiOR*
The warriors of the clan make up the majority of the group. They are normal cats who patrol the border, hunt for the clan, and defend it with their lives. They are disciplined and loyal cats, sworn to a strict code of conduct. They may become deputies or leaders eventually if chosen. They can be either male or female.
*APPRENTiCE*
Apprentices are cats who begin their training at the age of six moons (months). They are given a mentor (a warrior) and their duty is to learn the life of a clan cat. They must complete certain training and chores. Their names end in "paw" until they become warriors. Their duties include : training with their mentor, giving fresh-kill to the elders, and going on border patrols. They will be given their warrior name by their leader when they have completed their training and are 12 moons of age.
N0TE : They can however be an apprentice for longer than 12 moons if their mentor does not feel they are ready.
*KiT*
Kits are kittens. They are newborn cats with no real responsibilities. They are too young to do much, except stay near the den and play with their siblings. Their names end in "kit" until they become apprentices (6 moons)

-LONER-
Loners are cats living on their own in the wild. They do not belong to any clan, and neither are they welcome in the land of the clans. They are not always aggressive. Many loners are kittypets who ran away, or cats who were raised outside of clan life.

~KiTTYPETS~
Kittypets are cats who have been raised by twolegs. They are not really welcome in the clans although there have been cases where they have been taken in by clans, although this is rare. They live with twolegs and are pampered, wearing fancy collars, many are rather fat from their diet of kittypet food.

// ROGUE \\
Rogues are vicious, typically despised cats with some sort of negative association to the clans. Usually they're ex-clan cats who were exiled for some crime against the clan, but other times, they're aggressive cats who can be spotted causing trouble on the borders. Many of these live inside the Twoleg junkyard. They are covered in black grease, missing patches of fur, have scars, and normally have fleas...
